Lukula Selous Camp
Lukula Selous is a private game sanctuary of over 300,000 acres located in Southern Tanzania. During the dry season Jul-Oct the animals are concentrated along the waterways. The camp is part of the Great Plains portfolio.
The secluded campsite is built on the banks of the Luwegu River and beneath acacia, tamarind, fig and sausage trees.
Each of the four tents has views of the river and the broad white sand beaches.
The stylish tents feature large comfortable beds, hardwood furniture, brass, copper and weathered canvas – all enhanced by brightly colored carpets and cushions brought in from Zanzibar.
The dining tent is an intimate area where meals are served around a mahogany table.
There is a shaded verandah and the perfect place to enjoy a book or cocktail while looking out on the river.
The cuisine is prepared using local ingredients and fresh breads and cakes are baked daily.
